Kym has been with FCR since 2015, riding in Cat Attack and now managing the team. He’s represented FCR at events in WA and Victoria, managed Modbury High School’s trike Puma for five years, and joined the committee in 2019. Kym has held several roles, including Vice-President (2021, 2024, 2025), and will serve as FCR President in 2026, aiming to maintain strong race results and club culture.
Elton joined FCR as a rider and member in 2020, mainly representing our Master's team, Top Cat. In 2026, he looks forward to stepping into the club's Vice President role, collaborating closely with Kym and the 2026 FCR Committee. Elton is enthusiastic about being involved at the club—whether assisting with bikes or challenging fellow FCR riders during regular rides! He earned the title of our wildest member by becoming the first solo FCR rider at the Victoria Park 6-hour event in 2022. Elton brings great energy to the club and committee, and we are thrilled to have him with us.
Wendy has been a valued member of the Fast Cats community since 2015, the year her son, who is both a FCR rider and team manager—became involved with the team at Modbury High. Over the years, Wendy has taken on several volunteer positions, most notably serving as Team Manager for Pink Panther for six years, as well as managing our All-Women’s team, Cougar. She has also contributed as a committee member for most of her time with the club. In 2026, Wendy will step into the role of club Secretary once again.
Stephen, along with his family who share his passion for Human Powered Vehicles (HPVs), joined Fast Cats Racing (FCR) in 2023 following the closure of his beloved 'The Heights Pedal Prix' team. Since becoming part of FCR, Stephen has participated in various trikes and has now found his place in Team Cat Attack, one of our vibrant open community teams. The involvement doesn’t stop with Stephen—his wife and two daughters are also enthusiastic riders for FCR, making it a true family venture. In 2026, Stephen marks his third year serving on the FCR committee and his inaugural year as Treasurer.
Ron joined Modbury High Pedal Prix as a parent volunteer in 2006 and helped found FCR in 2007. He's held several roles, including President, Vice President, committee member, and team manager for various trikes. Known across the wider Pedal Prix community, Ron builds strong relationships with other teams and exemplifies sportsmanship and support.
He is also an FCR Life Member.
Ben started with Pedal Prix at Modbury High School, riding school trikes. After graduating, he joined FCR as both a community rider and team manager, currently leading Hellcat and focusing on building a strong community team. Ben returned to riding in 2024 after a break and has served in various committee roles. He looks forward to the 2026 season.
John first came to Fast Cats Racing as a Modbury High School parent and soon became an FCR rider and active volunteer. His entire family participates in both MHS and FCR teams. As club Trainer, John works enthusiastically with high school and community riders to support their fitness and wellbeing.
Luke began as a Modbury High School parent, managing Team Cheetah for his son. He is a dedicated Masters team member of Top Cat, helping secure multiple first places and two Overall Series wins in 2024 and 2025. The Murnane family actively participates in Pedal Prix, with his wife riding for Cougar and both sons competing for MHS.
Jess has brought a refreshing energy to her position as Modbury High School’s Pedal Prix Coordinator in 2024. Both our students and their families appreciate her firm yet compassionate method of supporting and motivating students to achieve their best. Jess's family also demonstrates the positive impact Pedal Prix can have in our community—her husband competes with Top Cat, and her sons race with various MHS teams.
Wayne 'Fergie' Ferguson has been with FCR since 2007, riding in many trikes since 2009 and now a proud rider of Cat Attack. As a Modbury High teacher, Ferg has been involved with MHS Pedal Prix since 2005 and served as School Liaison since 2007, plus FCR President in 2015, 2024, and 2025. Fergie is also an FCR Life Member.
